teacher
I obtained Teacher's Dance Diploma as a part of my graduation from Nationale Conservatoire Of Dance in 1991. I am authorized to teach on professional level, as professional dance students as amateurs.
I've been teaching from 1993, and since that time, I've had many possibilities to work with professionals, and with pre-professionals or amateurs, too. Therefore I am able to lead students of different levels, based on their needs and quality.
I teach classical ballet, pointe work, pas de deux, classical and contemporary repertoire, contemporary, jazz dance, release technique, and strech & stamina class. I use to lead students to pre- and professional competitions, and work as their chreographer as well. As for classical ballet, I am qualified to teach Vaganova's. In 2002, I've already started with RAD sylabuss, and I am planning my RAD Diploma in the near future.
During September 2002 - May 2003 I held the position of Dance Director in Orsta og Volda Balletskule, in Norway. I worked with almost 160 students in 25 classis, from 4 - 18 years, and prepared several dance projects with them in classical ballet, contemporary and jazz dance. As well, I took successfuly the students to RAD examinations (2, 3,5, 6 grades and Elementary) in 2003, with supervision of Mrs. Avdal, Norwegian RAD Diploma teacher.
And during period January - May 2004 I worked as Artistic Director an Head of Ballet & Contemporary in Stage Door Dance Centre in Tønsberg, Norway. There I taught RAD and Vaganova's classical ballet (including pointe work), contemporary and jazz dance.
As well, I led and prepared repertoire for SD Dance company. Beside my work as Artistic Director and dance teacher, I was responsible for Development Office and PR (public performances, workshops, annual show, International Dance Day and the others.)
Since September 2004 I have been workung as Artistic Director of JAG Dance Academy in Maidstone in U.K. and Artistic Director of Kent College of Ballet.
In my freetime, I participate in public workshops, summer or winter dance festivals, as teacher and choreographer (last summer 2004 I was guest teacher in Summer Dance Schools in KGB Sandvika and Spin Off Oslo, Norway).
